LOVE started off life as a concessions brand at Topshop offering the latest styles from their in house design team. Love if the second label to be featured in a series of Behind The Brand interviews.

1. What makes your brand stand-out from your competitors?

LOVE does not mass produce collections that is why there is a huge demand for our stock, which sells out really fast!

2.Where do you get your inspiration from when creating a new collection?

For Spring/Summer 2011, we looked at Designer Catwalk shows for inspiration and to see what ideas are recurring throughout the shows to forecast fashion trends. Also trends in high street stores are a good indicator of ideas filtered down from the designer shows. Styles blogs have become a very important tool to predict trends for the future.

3. Which do you think is your stand-out piece of the current collection?

The Cape dress has been a huge success and is a great example of a successful trend filtered down to the high street. Our Chiffon pieces, plain or printed, have been a huge success and show a shift to a more flirty and feminine style of dressing.

4. Are you excited about 2011 and the new SS11 collection?

Transition from Winter to Spring is always an exciting time for designers, colour and print become even more exciting.
