1. What makes your brand stand-out from your competitors?
The fact we have a very high turnover of product means there’s around 300 new styles on the site per week, giving us a competitive edge for newness in the current market trend for ‘fast fashion’. It also means we’re able to launch more trend collections to inspire the customer.
2. Where do you get your inspiration from when creating a new collection?
The boohoo design team compile seasonal catwalk reports from the latest runways and take inspiration from the most popular looks. They then filter these looks into more watered down designs / collections suitable and accessible for the boohoo customer.
3. Which do you think is your stand-out piece of the current collection?
A key piece is the Natalie shorts from the future attitudes collections – they’re a loosely tailored style, really versatile and a key pieces for a spring/summer wardrobe.
4. Are you excited about 2011 and the new SS11 collection?
A break from the darker mood of winter and a return to pastel colours and brighter hues. Also, the launch of a fully branded swimwear collection and an updated product portfolio for the premium collection boohoo pink.
